Social Work Psychotherapy Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Mental Health Professional (MHP) is responsible for rendering mental health services under the supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) and program director. The MHP will provide both CPST and PSR services via community based visits which include but are not limited; assisting clients in meeting day to day requirements, crisis intervention, skills building, treatment planning, counseling, etc.
Position Duties :
Provide Strength-based, solution-focused supportive therapeutic services in the community. Be knowledgeable of your clients including their strengths, diagnosis, treatment goals and treatment plan. Participate in collaborative meetings with Rehabilitation Services staff, other agencies or community and natural supports as needed. Communicate client's status on a regular basis, including, but not limited to changes in mood or functioning, medical issues and all crisis and health and safety issues. Turning in notes on time according to policy. Document all "no shows," and communicate all difficulties contacting clients with appropriate office staff. Attend all office trainings as well as regular clinical supervision sessions with Clinical Manager and/or

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation Services, or related fields from an accredited institution. Fully licensed as a LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, CSW, or a psychology intern from an APA-approved program. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with adults with severe mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, or chronic health conditions. Strong understanding of recovery principles and recovery-driven service delivery models. Must possess a valid Louisiana Driver's License and obtain necessary state and federal clearances.
