Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our rural health clinic. We currently have a one LMFT and we need a second behavioral health provider. The position is for a 1099 employee and the pay structure is a "piece-rate pay", meaning that you are paid per encounter. You will have the flexability to make your own schedule. The clinic provides malpractice insurance and handles all of your billing. There is a small private office available. We have an EHR, but you will only be required to use it for scheduling and billing functions. You do not have to use it for charting, although your charts would still need to be complete and meet standard criteria. In other words, I don't want learning a new EHR to be a deterrent. You will certainly be able to use it if you want. In this role, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health services, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, to diverse populationsin an outpatient setting. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their wellness goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive environment that values professional growth and clinical excellence. We are open to discussion and welcome you to drop by and see our office if you are interested. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including intake interviews and diagnostic evaluations Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities for which you are trained/certified Implement crisis management techniques, including crisis intervention and behavior management strategies, to ensure patient safety and stability Provide specialized counseling for children and adults Incorporating telehealth experience when applicable/appropriate. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with referring providers and other clinicians as appropriate Qualifications Current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT with the appropriate state licensing board and the ability to provide services independently Proven experience in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health treatment modalities Familiarity with working with children is highly desirable Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to handle sensitive situations effectively.
