Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Professional or
PLPC/PLCSW
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services, including psychotherapy and counseling, to individuals and families. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, with a focus on supporting clients through various challenges, including severe and persistent mental illness, and more. The
LMHP/PLPC/PLCSW
will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for all clients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress. Engage in motivational interviewing techniques to promote client engagement and motivation for change. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients. Provide education and resources related to mental health issues, and behavioral therapy techniques. Support clients with developmental disabilities through tailored interventions and community integration strategies. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling holding a license in Louisiana PLPC/LPC or
LCSW/LMSW
Experience in mental health counseling, particularly with Adults Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient patient record management. Knowledge of medical terminology, . Strong background in intervention techniques. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics,. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds. Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as psychopharmacology, behavioral health trends, and therapeutic modalities.
