Job Description

Are you interested in using your passion for video gaming in a therapeutic setting? Apply NOW! Duxbury Counseling is seeking a dedicated Post-Graduate Master's Level Mental Health Counselor to join our growing behavioral health team. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical skills with creative, engaging therapeutic approaches while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and families. As a member of our team, you will provide individual therapy services in either outpatient, school-based, or telehealth settings. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and help clients build the skills needed to achieve their mental health goals. We are especially excited to hire clinicians interested in our innovative Game-Informed Individual Therapy Program . This program incorporates therapist-guided interactive activities, including video games and other structured digital experiences, to help clients develop emotional regulation, communication, coping skills, frustration tolerance, social skills, and problem-solving abilities. This approach is particularly effective for: Children with social anxiety Teens who are hesitant to engage in traditional talk therapy Neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder Children and teens working on emotional regulation, peer interactions, communication skills, and behavioral challenges Sessions remain clinician-led, goal-oriented, and evidence-based, with gaming and interactive activities serving as powerful tools to increase engagement, strengthen the therapeutic relationship, and provide opportunities for real-time skill practice.
