Job Overview:
Americare Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join our team. As an Outpatient Therapist, you will provide clinical counseling services to individuals in an outpatient setting. Your role will involve assessing clients' mental health needs, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions.Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health status
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
- Provide individual counseling sessions to address a range of mental health issues
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote positive change and growth
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentations and records
- Provide crisis management support as needed
- Make referrals to outside agencies as needed
- Fulfill mandatory reporting, including abuse and neglect reports concerning children, the elderly, or the disabled.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling or a related field
- Mental Health Counselor or Clinical Social Worker preferred
- Experience working in outpatient setting is preferred
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Strong knowledge of clinical counseling theories and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Strong crisis management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

$66,000.00- $85,000.
