This is not a "fill your caseload and burn out" environment. This is a place to do meaningful work, alongside people who care deeply about what they do. Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating evidence-based practices Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during urgent situations. Provide specialized support for clients dealing with PTSD, addiction issues, grief, chronic pain, or developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder Utilize telehealth platforms to extend access to mental health services while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality. Maintain detailed medical documentation and records using medical terminology and ICD coding standards; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans to support patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Engage in clinical research activities and data collection to improve treatment outcomes and contribute to the advancement of behavioral health practices. Offer Christian counseling when appropriate, respecting clients' spiritual beliefs as part of holistic healing. Stay current on medical terminology, CPT coding for billing purposes, and behavioral health best practices to enhance service quality. Training, or willingness, to train in holistic modalities. Proven experience in clinical counseling or mental health support roles within outpatient or inpatient settings. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychopharmacology integration. Hands-on experience working with adolescents and adult individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or those facing gender issues counseling. Familiarity with crisis management procedures and crisis intervention techniques in diverse environments including hospital experience or community clinics. Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations usingICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems; knowledge of medical records management is essential. Telehealth experience is highly preferred to facilitate remote client engagement effectively. Strong understanding of social work principles, patient assessment methods, behavior management strategies. Ability to handle sensitive situations involving trauma or PTSD care while maintaining professionalism and empathy at all times.
