Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, clinical counseling, and crisis intervention, to diverse populations across various settings. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges, promoting resilience and well-being. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical counseling sessions for individuals and groups. Deliver evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing tailored to each client's needs. Provide specialized counseling for children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records (EMR systems), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans and coordinate care with community resources or home-based services. Collect data for clinical research projects, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to ongoing program development related to mental health care and addiction counseling. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the applicable state or jurisdiction. Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or behavioral health settings. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and familiarity with medical records management. Experience working with children, families, individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, and those requiring Alzheimer's or geriatrics care is highly desirable. Proficiency in EMR systems and data collection tools used for clinical documentation and research purposes. Excellent skills in patient assessment, case management, crisis management, and group therapy facilitation. Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques, psychopharmacology basics, CPT coding practices, ICD coding standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements. $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
