Your expertise will help empower clients to overcome challenges related to mental health, behavioral issues, trauma, and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Conduct client assessments, including intake interviews and diagnostic evaluations . Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and well-being during acute episodes. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation of patient care activities using appropriate medical terminology for billing purposes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Qualifications Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution or ADT certification. Valid licensure or certification as required by state law for behavioral health professionals; additional certifications in addiction counseling or Christian counseling are a plus. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, in outpatient settings; clinic experience preferred. Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct intake assessments and patient evaluations effectively. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while demonstrating empathy and cultural competence.
