Central New York Psychiatric Center is recruiting a Licensed Mental Health Counselor provide clinical mental health counseling and psychotherapeutic services to individuals with mental illness. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will perform a wide variety of treatment services including:
- Provide direct mental health counseling and psychotherapeutic treatment
- Conduct risk assessments, clinical evaluations, and intake screenings
- Document and maintain records and treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling and education Minimum Qualifications Candidates from outside or within State Service may be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (HELPS) program as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor if they have a license and current registration as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State.
