Job Description

Helping Great Therapists Do Their Best Work. At Amplified Life, we believe exceptional client care begins with exceptional therapists supported by an exceptional team. We also believe therapists do their best work when they have the opportunity to rest, recharge, and enjoy life outside the counseling office. That's why we've intentionally built a private practice around a simple philosophy. You bring your clinical expertise, compassion, and commitment to your clients. We provide the administrative support, practice infrastructure, collaborative team, and Therapist Wellbeing Benefits—including Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays—that help you sustain your best work over the long term. We've intentionally created a practice where therapists and administrative professionals work together, each doing what they do best, creating an environment where therapists, clients, and the practice all thrive. That's how we bring wellbeing to life. About Amplified Life Located in Byron Center, Michigan, just south of University of Michigan Health-West at M6 and Byron Center Avenue, Amplified Life provides trauma-informed counseling in a peaceful, natural setting to individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences. Our unique 6-acre Wellbeing Campus features:
  • Wooded walking trails
  • Outdoor counseling spaces with seasonal scenic views
  • Comfortable therapy suites
  • Historic counseling home
  • Dedicated studio for groups and play therapy We believe the environment where healing takes place should support both the people receiving care and the professionals providing it.
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, fully licensed LPC or LMSW to join our growing clinical team. This full-time position is ideal for therapists who enjoy the autonomy and meaningful relationships of private practice while appreciating the support of an experienced team committed to helping clinicians do their very best work. You'll primarily provide outpatient counseling services to adults and couples while building long-term therapeutic relationships within a collaborative practice environment. Expected Clinical Schedule
  • Approximately 25-35 counseling sessions per week
  • Adults and couples in an outpatient private practice setting Our Practice Philosophy Amplified Life operates within a faith-informed, trauma-informed model of care while serving individuals and families from a wide variety of backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences.

  • Comfortable working within a practice that thoughtfully integrates faith and clinical care when appropriate.
  • Committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based counseling.
  • Comfortable collaborating with physicians, community providers, and other referral sources.
  • Open to serving clients who desire faith to be incorporated into their counseling experience.
Depending on your interests, opportunities may also exist to collaborate with local churches, pastoral counselors, and faith-based community organizations. Our Partnership We believe therapist wellbeing is not separate from client wellbeing—it helps make it possible. We don't view Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays as simply employee benefits. We view them as an investment in the long-term wellbeing of our therapists and the quality of care they provide.
You bring:
  • Clinical expertise
  • Compassion
  • Professional judgment
  • Commitment to helping people heal We bring:
  • An experienced administrative team that manages scheduling, onboarding, insurance verification, billing, credentialing, and claims management.
  • Marketing and promotion of your professional services.
  • A collaborative practice environment where you're supported—not isolated.
  • Flexible scheduling that encourages healthy work-life balance.
  • Paid Time Off so you can recharge without sacrificing income.
  • Paid Holidays so you can enjoy meaningful time with family and friends.
  • A peaceful 6-acre Wellbeing Campus intentionally designed to support healing.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Opportunity to participate in medical, dental, and vision benefit plans.
Our partnership is built on a shared commitment: You focus on caring for your clients. We'll provide the support, structure, and environment that help you do your best work—for years to come. Compensation Most experienced full-time therapists maintaining a consistent schedule of 28-35 clinical sessions per week earn $80,000-$108,000 annually.
