Job Description

Overview Are you looking to earn extra income? We are looking for a contractual LPC or MSW to service survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in trauma and demonstrate a commitment to supporting individuals through various challenges. This role requires a professional who can provide effective therapeutic interventions, facilitate group sessions, and work collaboratively with clients to promote mental health and well-being related to Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. Responsibilities Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address clients' emotional, psychological, and social needs. Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including art therapy and crisis intervention strategies, to support client progress. Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, service plans, and case notes. Engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, but specifically those experiencing Domestic Violence or Sexual Assault. Experience A Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. Previous experience in clinical counseling or related mental health services is preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds are essential.
