In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and/or seniors. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. You will deliver individual, couples, and/or family therapy using evidence-based practices while ensuring compassionate, client-centered care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives through innovative therapeutic approaches and collaborative case management. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately document patient conditions. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating modalities. Provide individual and group counseling sessions. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during acute episodes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, special education staff, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care when needed. Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and documentation with precision while utilizing medical terminology effectively for clear communication. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling sessions while adhering to all regulatory standards for virtual care. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a fully licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LMSW, LMFT, LP, ect.) Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or addiction counseling. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic purposes and CPT coding for billing procedures. Experience with crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies across various populations. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health conditions. Excellent skills in patient assessment, case management, and clinical documentation standards aligned with HIPAA regulations. Competency in delivering services via telehealth platforms with a focus on patient engagement and confidentiality. Currently has and can maintain a full caseload of clients.
