Our Company SpringPath Mental Health Services Overview The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner works as part of an Intensive Residential Treatment Services team that provides care, treatment and rehabilitation for persons served who are experiencing significant mental health/psychiatric symptoms; who are demonstrating significant functional impairments; and who may have co-occurring disorders. Responsibilities Crisis Assessment and medical/behavioral emergency Conducts variety of assessments such as suicidal, Vestibular Assessment, immediate needs, functional, living skills, and resource acquisitions Complete Interpretative summaries Develops crisis/treatment/behavioral plans and goals for clients Writes progress notes, summaries, and discharges Group and Individual Counseling services Skills Teaching Case Management Household management Implements the treatment/rehabilitative activities and strategies Crisis Prevention Medication Administration Participates in weekly staff meetings Reports significant / major incidents or accidents Establishes high levels of mutual trust and support with others. Provides coaching/learning environment Provides and promotes consumer choice and facilitates independence Able to perform duties independently and as a team Promoting the operation in a positive manner to the community and outside agencies. Promotes/encourages community integration and choice making Dependable, accepts responsibility for attendance and punctuality Conduct self in professional and ethical manner Cooperates and is willing to assist others, accepts direction Demonstrates productive individual and teamwork behaviors Handles information in a confidential manner Communicates in an open and honest manner Notifies proper authorities of circumstances or situations that present possible health hazard. Observes and implements established policies on health, safety, security, code of conduct, regulation, and company policies Other duties as assigned Qualifications At least a bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university Minimum of 2000 hours (post Bachelor degree) of verifiable work experience providing services and support to individuals with mental illness Or, Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university Valid driver's license and car insurance required Supervisory experience preferred Ability to communicate verbally and in writing Experience in managing systems, processes, and people Operate general office equipment Good organizational skills and attention to detail Capable of working responsibly with highly confidential information Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team About our Line of Business SpringPath Mental Health Services assists individuals with emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric disorders which result in functional impairments in traditional day-to-day life activities.
