Job Description

Secure Base Counseling Center (SBCC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated graduate level clinical intern to join our team as a mental health therapist. Part-time (flexible scheduling but some after school or evening hours required)
Compensation:
$2500 stipend per semester available
Position Details:
Learn from other therapists through shadowing opportunities Carry a caseload of therapy clients in one of our outpatient clinics Learn how to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds Provide systemic, trauma-informed care through an attachment lens Learn how to write diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes that meet DHS standards Grow professionally through a supportive, reflective supervisor relationship

Qualifications:
Enrolled in a master's program in Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy Strong communication skills and a commitment to client-centered care Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Application Process:
We are currently accepting interns for 2027. Intern applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Once you have applied, expect to hear from SBCC within 48 hours to schedule an interview with our internship coordinator. Interviews can be completed in person or via telehealth. We look forward to hearing from you! The pay range for this role is: 30 - 35 USD per hour(Minnesota)
