PAC is seeking a Client Access Counselor to join our Intake Team and work in a positive work environment with a team of supportive professionals.
Essential Functions:
Perform intake duties as assigned by Clinical Director Facilitate gender-specific primary, experiential, and education groups and lectures Support primary counselors by assisting with paperwork and covering caseloads Comply with MN Statute, Chapter 245G requirements regarding timely paperwork and documentation Provide support and intervention in crisis situations Maintain a positive, professional and ethical demeanor with clients and within the community while following a strict code of ethics Participate in various regularly scheduled meetings Participate in weekly supervision meetings with the Clinical Director Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must demonstrate competence in screening for and working with clients with co-occurring disorders; through education, training and experience Knowledge of MN Statute, Chapter 245G and licensing and its application to the department and company's policy and procedures Ability to work in alignment with company values, goals, policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative relationships with co-workers Ability to establish priorities, manage projects and meet deadlines Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English; communication skills in other languages preferred Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Electronic Medical Record system; or ability to obtain proficiency after training Required qualifications Must be a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or have the ability to obtain an Alcohol and Drug Counselor Temporary permit (ADC-T) Must obtain and maintain required continuing education units and training

$54,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year DOQ.
