If you are an experienced youth-care professional who enjoys mentoring, building relationships, creating meaningful activities, and helping youth overcome challenges, we want you on our team. What You'll Do Provide supervision, mentoring, behavioral support, and therapeutic engagement to youth. Build positive relationships while maintaining clear expectations and professional boundaries. Help youth develop emotional regulation, communication, decision-making, and independent-living skills. Implement treatment-plan and behavioral goals during daily activities and interactions. Use de-escalation and conflict-resolution strategies when youth experience behavioral challenges. Plan and participate in recreational, educational, social, and community activities. Transport youth to school, appointments, activities, visits, and community programs. Communicate with the treatment team regarding resident progress, concerns, and accomplishments. Complete professional daily documentation, incident reports, behavioral documentation, and other required records. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve resident outcomes. Maintain a safe, structured, engaging, and supportive residential environment. Your Ideas Matter We want team members who create activities, solve problems, and bring new ideas for engaging youth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree perferred, preferably in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Criminal Justice, Education, Sociology, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of professional youth-care experience required. Residential, behavioral health, mental health, juvenile services, child welfare, or group-home experience strongly preferred. Experience with de-escalation, behavioral intervention, and establishing appropriate boundaries. Case management experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to complete clear, objective, professional documentation. Must be empathetic, dependable, team-oriented, and able to remain calm during challenging situations. Must be at least 21 years old. Valid Minnesota driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days. Must meet driving, background study, and other employment requirements. Schedule Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week 8- to 10-hour shifts available, including: 2:00 PM-10:00 PM 3:00 PM-11:00 PM Day, evening, overnight, and weekend opportunities may be available.
