Why ReDiscover? 700+ dedicated professionals Over five decades of community impact A culture grounded in compassion, collaboration, and growth About the Children's Community Services Program Our Children's Services program offers mental health services to school aged youth at home, school, or in their community. Our staff have smaller caseloads, are able to see clients one or more times a week, and have flexible schedules. This helps to ensure that a child's services are not disrupted due to transportation or family scheduling concerns. What You'll Do Provides assistance to parents/families of children with serious mental illness. Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed. Communicate and collaborate with an internal multi-disciplinary team (including case managers and mental health clinicians) to address various aspects of wellness and ensure positive communication regarding the coordination of client care. Will be required to work some evenings to assure that the necessary supports are in place for the client's success. Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records. Requirements of the Position High School Diploma or GED. Availability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours a week), Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm At the minimum, candidates with Certified Family Support Provider credentialing through the Missouri Credentialing Board (FSP) A valid automobile driver's license, appropriate automobile insurance and a safe, reliable, registered automobile available for use during work hours which includes transporting clients in personal vehicle. Missouri resident for at least two years. Must be a parent/family member of a child who has been or currently has a behavioral or emotional disorder and has received Mental Health Services. The ability to work with all persons with multiple challenges (mental illness, substance abuse, physical challenges, developmental disabilities, etc.). Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
