Start earning PTO the day you start Work life balance Behavioral health assistance Regular supervision What You'll Do Family Peer Support Professionals are specialized team members of the Mobile Response Team, providing rapid mobile response to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. In alignment with Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS), Family Peer Support Professionals draw on their lived experiences as caregivers raising a child with behavioral health challenges. They specialize in inspiring hope, connection, and providing guidance. They assist in risk assessment and safety/crisis planning. Following immediate stabilization, they provide mentoring, training, coaching and advocacy, create a bridge to community resources, and support individuals and families through system navigation. Keys roles for the Family Peer Support position include: Provide crisis hotline coverage and Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) Assist in crisis de-escalation, stabilization and resolution Perform risk assessment and safety and crisis planning Provide mentoring, coaching and advocacy, create a bridge to resources and support system navigation Minimum requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. BA/BS preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have direct experience as a caregiver to a youth or young adult with behavioral health challenges and will utilize those experiences to inspire hope, connection, and provide guidance.
