Job Description

Southern Behavioral Medicine Associates PLLC is a small business with two l locations in MS; our main office is in Hattiesburg and we have a satellite office in Flowood. We are established healthcare providers for over 15 years. We provide professional, exceptional and science based healthcare to the residents of MS. We treat clients with dignity and respect and pride ourselves on getting our patients better. We are a modern healthcare business with EHR and digital capabilities.

Modern office setting Excellent staff support Growth opportunities We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or experienced Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to work in our growing outpatient office. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various psychiatric patients, be experienced in providing one on one psychotherapy, and be familiar with medical terminology. Our
LCSW/ LMSW/ LPC
will also be highly professional, well spoken, and have confident patient interaction skills, while being responsible for carrying out a treatment plan. Adults (18 to 88) or adolescent (ages 12+ to 18) service providers are needed. Day time or evening hours available. Weekends available. Scheduling is flexible. We can accomodate up to 25+ hours a week. Perfect supplemental income position. Potential to grow practice over time! This position is for an outpatient individual therapy provider, and provider must be familiar with evidence based treatments and have a track record of providing effective individual psychotherapy. From the office, we also provide telehealth to qualifying patients.
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized treatment plans to patients. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy Support patients and their families with counseling, medication management, and various other therapies. Liaise with family members and caretakers; provide patient care updates as needed. Provide referrals as needed to outside providers and specialists.
