  • Part-time, Full-time, Contract Job Overview East Park Counseling Services is a private practice built upon strong values, hard work and dedication to the people we serve.
We are seeking a charismatic, mature, professional, compassionate therapist to help continue servicing our Mississippi residents. Your role as a therapist is paramount. This unique opportunity allows you to utilize your evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote change, growth, and support recovery. In this setting, you will not be responsible for billing and claims processes. Your time spent will be client centered. Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions to assess and address clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and clinical insights.
  • Capacity to utilize constructive criticism to foster professional growth.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and techniques to support clients' progress.
  • Utilize active listening and empathy to build a strong therapeutic alliance with clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes in compliance with ethical, billing, and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure holistic client care.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and best practices.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards throughout all interactions.
  • Maintain relevant CEUs required by your field of practice.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and staff meetings as required.
  • Performed all other office duties required of you to maintain a clean, proficient and professional office setting. Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling or a related field with an ACTIVE license, no limitations.
LCSW, LPC, LM&FT.
  • Minimum 2 yrs experience in providing individual counseling and therapy.
  • Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills, which entails active listening, and the ability to empathize with clients' struggles.
  • Knowledge of ethical and legal standards related to mental health counseling and your perspective practiced profession.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • Capacity to assist in managing office workflow.
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft products and therapy case management programs/software.
  • Flexibility to adapt to clients' schedules and the center's needs.
  • Maintain a cultural awareness of the populations you will be serving.
Work Schedule This is a part-time to full-time position. The therapist will be expected to work a min of 20 hours per week and based on client demand and availability. Location Olive Branch, MS Office. In-person and virtual counseling platforms will be utilized. Possible traveling required between EPC locations.
