Calling compassionate grief counselors and supervisors! Tamarack Grief Resource Center (TGRC) is seeking a licensed clinician to join our team as a Lead Mental Health Counselor! Individuals applying for the Lead Mental Health Counselor & Supervisor position should be interested in leadership and helping train counselors-in-training. TGRC hours of operations:Mon, Tues, Thurs:
10a-6:30p Wed, Fri 9a-5:30p Some evenings and weekends may be required for special programs and events. In general, no meetings scheduled before 11am on Monday or after 3:30pm on Friday.Compensation:
Lead Mental Health Counselor:
$67,500-$76,000/year, pro-rated, depending on experience, FTE, and number of clients and supervisees. Additional Benefits, as outlined inTGRC Policies and Procedures:
Wellness Stipend:
$3,600-$4,800/year ($300-$400 per month added to salary)- 15 days of paid leave, pro-rated
- 14 paid Holidays as outlined in P&P
- Short-Term Disability Stipend, after 1 year
- 3% IRA Match, after 3 years
- Paid Licensure Fees
- Grief Institute registration fees and hours (12+ CEs)

This position will be based out of the Missoula office.Benefits of Team TGRC:
This position is for someone interested in direct work with clients and counselors-in-training, appreciation for a steady paycheck, and an appreciation for team members who take care of the nitty gritty! TGRC has multiple staff who cover client scheduling, session reminders, tech support/upgrades, submitting billing, updating forms, responding to calls/inquiries, maintaining welcome area and supplies, manages payments, processes payroll, and writes grants to ensure steady compensation for all staff, etc. This support allows clinicians to prioritize direct service and documentation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of theLead Mental Health Counselor & Supervisor Position:
- Schedule 5-6 direct service hours per day (includes counseling, workshops, and supervision)
- Provide counseling/consultations for individuals, groups, families, and couples including youth and adults in-person and via telehealth
- Facilitate groups
- Provide community workshops
- Serve as a liaison between clients, community members, professionals and services
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive non-profit organization
- Serve as Clinical Supervisor for clinicians-in-training (including PCLCs, SWLCs, and Interns)
- Assist with maintaining current clinic forms (intake packets, treatment plans, releases, requests for services, etc.)
- Act as point of contact and leader representing TGRC's clinic
- Ensure HIPAA compliance
- Ensure that all clinicians maintain health records including progress notes and treatment plans
- Work with Office Coordinator to ensure timely billing and insurance applications/processing
- Assist with facilitation of Urgent Response efforts
