Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS or LCAS-A Required)

License Clinical Addiction Specialist/Substance Abuse Counselor LCAS or LCAS-A Counselor We are seeking a full-time, compassionate LCAS or LCAS-A Counselor to join our team. Job Description Zenith Hope Center, Charlotte, NC is hiring an Addiction Counselor. Needed to provide a necessary support system for adult individuals recovering from drugs and alcohol issues; to encourage patient recovery; to help patients develop a relapse prevention plan and safety plan; facilitate individual and group psychotherapy sessions, refer patients to outside support groups. Must be able to create a strong bond with their patients, manage a caseload and maintain documentation.

Requirements:

Must be LCAS or

LCAS -A, CCS

a plus licensed in North Carolina with a Master Degree. Must pass a background check. A minimum of one year addiction counseling experience required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Facilitate individual and group psychotherapy counseling sessions, encourage patient recovery, assist patient with developing a relapse prevention plan and safety Plan, and develop person centerd plans, must be able to create biopsychosocial or comprehensive cliinical assessments and have experience with ASAM criteria. Must be able to create a strong bond with the patient and manage a caseload and maintain excellent documentation. Work schedule; M-F 5:45 AM-2:30 PM. Weekend rotation maybe required. Salary negotiable.
