Job Description

Overview We are a growing mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and families. Our mission is to help young people build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and thrive in their daily lives. We are seeking a Child Therapist who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents and families through meaningful therapeutic work. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including intake interviews, psychological testing, and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy, and crisis intervention techniques. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on mental health conditions such as PTSD, addiction, autism spectrum disorders, and disabilities. Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of medical records and documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings across pediatrics, geriatrics, social work, and behavioral health disciplines. Facilitate behavioral health education sessions for patients and their families to promote understanding and ongoing wellness strategies. Qualifications Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field; licensure or certification as required by state law. Expierence working with children, adolescents, adults or geriatrics in clinical or hospital environments. Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques including psychotherapy approaches such as CBT and behavioral health interventions. Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering services remotely is highly desirable. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical records management, psychological testing, and diagnostic evaluation procedures. Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention skills.
Pay:
$85.00 - $105.00 per hour
