What You'll Do:
- Complete patient intakes, admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation
- Perform psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling
- Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of direct patient counseling each week
- Educate patients on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and healthy coping strategies
- Identify behavioral health and case management needs while coordinating patient care
- Collect urine drug screens and patient identification documentation
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, counselors, and clinic leadership to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Active North Carolina LCAS-A license required
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or mental health counseling preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
