Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Qualified Professional - This vital role involves providing comprehensive behavioral health services to adults/children and their families within home and community settings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting adults/children with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster positive outcomes. You will work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver tailored interventions that promote growth, resilience, and well-being. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of adult and children's developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs using clinical documentation standards and diagnostic evaluation tools. Deliver in-home, community-based, interventions focused on behavior management, social skills development, and crisis intervention. Strengthen family dynamics, improve communication, and support caregivers in implementing behavior management strategies. Maintain accurate health records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting participant care activities thoroughly and timely. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage adult/children and families actively in treatment processes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals, and care managers to coordinate care plans effectively. Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; licensure or certification as required by state law for qualified professionals. Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and mental health conditions. Proficiency in medical terminology, writing person centered plans, and; familiarity with HIPAA compliance is essential. Excellent communication skills for client engagement, case management, conflict management, and working effectively with adults/children with disabilities and their families. Experience working in home-based behavioral settings or community environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity when working with diverse populations across different backgrounds.
