Job Overview:
As a Mental Health Clinician for the Child Outpatient program, you are responsible for the direct provision of services to youth and family therapy services, including group and individual/family counseling.

Essential Functions:
Formulates and implements evidence based forms of psycho-therapeutic interventions with patients and families which include, but are not limited to: individual, family, parent and group therapies, which are geared toward achieving identified patient goals Interprets nature of illness and prescribed course of treatment to patients/families Analyzes data from standard instruments, and modified treatment approaches and techniques accordingly Conducts psychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk assessments to assess patients needs Completes the initial and subsequently revised treatment plans according to specified outpatient standards Meets established productivity standards and billable hours Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Obtains appropriate release of information Participates in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education, Uphold ethical standards and comply with Licensure regulations and HIPAA Collaborates with other hospital programs and community agencies with which patients and families are involved in order to support patient needs and discharge plans Perform other duties as assigned
