The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
Provides clinical assessment, crisis intervention, evaluations for hospitalization, and crisis service coordination primarily for children, adolescents and their families, within the context of the Children's Crisis Intervention Services (CCIS) system. Will also secondarily cover assessment and screening of adults, as indicated. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
Qualifications:
Required:
MA/MS degree in social work, psychology or related field Must possess and maintain a valid NJ State Driver s License BLS required within three (3) months of hire Must be able to work in stressful situations Individuals hired be eligible to obtain their Temporary Screening Certification Number upon hire and must obtain their permanent number with one year
Preferred:
Two years of prior experience/training working with children, adolescents and families in a mental health setting strongly preferred Experience/training in crisis intervention and assessment strongly preferred.
