Minimum Education and Experience:

Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision, Psychiatric Rehabilitation or equivalent required, preferably from a CACREP accredited program Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or eligibility to become a LPC in

New Jersey Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Experience as a mental health counselor Knowledge of / interest in psychiatric rehabilitation Higher education teaching experience (for recent graduates, this may be limited to graduate assistant activities and/or guest lectures) Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), or eligibility Evidence of teaching excellence in higher education Evidence of scholarly productivity Professional experience providing evidence-based interventions to individuals living with serious mental illness Professional identity within counseling professions as evidenced by membership in professional counseling organizations
