We work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families, with a strong emphasis on personalized care, meaningful therapeutic relationships, and long-term emotional growth. Our Teaneck office was intentionally designed to provide a calm, welcoming, and emotionally supportive setting for both clients and clinicians. Position Overview We are seeking a warm, engaging, and clinically thoughtful psychotherapist with strong interest and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. This role is primarily focused on in-person therapy at our Teaneck office, with occasional hybrid (in-office/telemedicine) flexibility may be available. The ideal candidate is emotionally attuned, relational, reliable, and able to connect meaningfully with both younger clients and parents. We are especially interested in clinicians who can work effectively with anxiety, emotional dysregulation, identity development, family stress, neurodivergent populations, school-related concerns, and relationship challenges common among children, teens, and emerging adults. Clinical Areas of Focus We welcome clinicians experienced or interested in working with: Anxiety and mood-related concerns ADHD, Autism Spectrum presentations, and neurodivergent populations OCD and perfectionism Emotional regulation difficulties Social anxiety and peer relationship struggles School-related stress and academic pressure Identity development and life transitions Family and parent-child dynamics Young adult adjustment and relationship concerns Trauma-informed and attachment-focused care Qualifications Required Active New Jersey license (LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or PhD) Exceptional clinicians with permits/provisional license may be considered Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or young adults Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport with both clients and families Professional documentation and organizational skills Willingness to maintain a consistent in-person caseload in Teaneck Preferred Background in psychodynamic, attachment-based, CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed approaches Experience supporting neurodivergent clients and families Comfort collaborating with schools, pediatricians, or outside providers Bilingual or multilingual clinicians are encouraged to apply What We Offer Avita iCare provides a professional home for clinicians who value both independence and meaningful collaboration.
