This energetic role involves leading group therapy sessions, facilitating client engagement, and supporting comprehensive addiction treatment program. You will play a vital part in fostering a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore behavioral change, develop coping skills, and achieve their recovery goals. We are committed to empowering our team members with the tools and resources needed to excel in behavioral health and addiction counseling. Duties Lead engaging and therapeutic group sessions focused on substance abuse recovery, mental health, and behavioral management strategies. Conduct client assessments to determine individual needs and tailor group content accordingly. Utilize evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis to promote positive change. Document group notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations documentation standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including case managers, clinicians, and medical staff to coordinate care plans. Manage crisis situations with effective crisis intervention strategies, ensuring safety for all participants. Create groups supportive towards drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Ability to run groups all day from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Experience Proven experience in group therapy facilitation within behavioral health or addiction settings. Strong background in psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, crisis management, and crisis intervention techniques. Demonstrating excellent communication skills across diverse populations.
