Job Description
Metro Children's Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced professionals to join our growing Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) team as CFASS Level 2 Providers . In this role, you'll work one-on-one with children and their families in the home and community, helping them build the skills, confidence, and support systems they need to thrive. You'll provide educational support, caregiver coaching, advocacy, and community resource coordination while working collaboratively with each family's Care Manager and interdisciplinary team. About the Position This is a flexible, part-time position providing one-on-one services to children and families throughout New York. Providers are assigned referrals based on their availability, preferred travel area, and experience. Most visits occur after school, during evenings, and on weekends. As Metro Children's Services continues to grow, providers who perform well may have opportunities to receive additional referrals. What You'll Do Provide individualized home and community-based services to children and their families. Support educational achievement, executive functioning, communication, problem-solving, daily living skills, and independence. Coach and empower caregivers with practical strategies to support their child's development and long-term success. Help families identify and access community resources and supports. Advocate for children and families while collaborating with Care Managers and other professionals. Encourage meaningful participation in home, school, and community activities. Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children, youth, or families in education, healthcare, psychology, social work, behavioral health, human services, or a related field. Experience working with children with developmental, behavioral, emotional, medical, or physical disabilities is strongly preferred. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. Reliable transportation preferred. Compensation $25.00-$35.00 per hour Flexible part-time schedule.
