Established and Highly Respected Counseling Team Looking For A School Based / Community Counselor! Are you passionate about providing compassionate and effective mental health care to students and families? HWS Best Health Boardman Counseling Team is seeking a dedicated Counselor. This role offers the opportunity to work with students in Boardman School District.
Primary Responsibilities:
    Complete Diagnostic Assessments:
    Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to understand clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
      Obtain Consent:
      Obtain consent for treatment and release of information forms in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
        Provide Individual Counseling:
        Conduct individual counseling sessions to address clients' mental health concerns and promote well-being.
          Family Sessions:
          Conduct family sessions as needed to address family dynamics and support holistic healing.
          • Support in
          Crisis Situations:
          Offer timely support and interventions in crisis situations to ensure clients' safety and well-being.
            Develop Treatment Plans:
            Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique goals and challenges.
            Requirements:
            • Bachelors or Masters in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
            • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health counselor (LSW, LISW or
            LPC, LPCC
            )
            • Experience working with adults, children, adolescents and teenagers in a mental health setting.
            • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
            • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
            • Proficiency in telehealth platforms for virtual counseling sessions.
