Behavioral Health Provider (LSW/RN - Mental Health)

Full-Time / Part-Time Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Provider to join our team in a correctional healthcare setting. In this role, you will provide behavioral health services, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual and group interventions to support the mental health and well-being of patients. Responsibilities Conduct psychosocial assessments and behavioral health evaluations. Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Assess patient progress and modify interventions as needed. Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health education. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and required reports. Prepare social histories, admission/discharge summaries, and other required documentation. Coordinate referrals and follow-up services with community agencies and healthcare providers. Attend treatment team meetings, training sessions, and court hearings as required. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and regulations. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must possess one of the following: Licensed Social Worker (LSW) - Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board. Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Ohio with: A Master's degree in Psychology or another mental health-related field, or A Master's degree in Nursing with a Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing concentration, or A Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing specialty certification issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing. Preferred Skills Behavioral health and mental health counseling Crisis intervention Case management Individual and group therapy Treatment planning Clinical documentation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Requirements Active Ohio professional license in good standing. Maintain all continuing education requirements for license renewal. Ability to work in a correctional healthcare environment. Flexible to work varying schedules as needed. Why Join Us?
