Job Description
Every Are you a peer support specialist who can work flexible hours? The peer support should be able to drive the company van to take patients to and from groups, NA/AA meetings, church, food panty, clothes panty, grogecy store, and other sober events in the community. This is a community position and will rarely be in the office. The hours needed are 12 am-9 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. The weekend schedule is every other weekend. This position requires compassionate and knowledgeable individual who is comfortable working with male patients that may have substance abuse or stable mental health issues. Duties Facilitate communication between clients and the manager Keep strict boundaries with clients Complete individual daily with all patients and peer group outings as much as possible, with a minimum of weekly grocery store runs and 1-2 NA/AA or church meetings weekly. Requirements High school diploma or GED, and age 21 or older. Peer support certification Medicaid Billing number Valid driver's license Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health disorders.
