Job Description
Overview We are seeking certified or licensed provider in a counseling related field that desire part-time work serving youth under 18 years of age. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to fit the needs of the agency. While this position is noted as Atoka, there may be some provision of services required in Murray County . Applicants may note the area(s) for which they are applying. Duties Facilitate in-person group counseling and individual sessions Family Counseling with youth and/or their family Facilitate group education utilizing a curriculum Engage with students, school staff, community members, funders, and agency staff in a respectful manner Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Complete monthly reports Engage with local partners to schedule sessions Collaborate with agency as well as community partners to plan youth programs, and community workshops. Ability to create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments Expertise in utilizing instructional materials Proven experience working with children and youth programs Excellent communication skills Ability to participate in ZOOM meetings with camera and voice Ability to listen to instructions and guidance Ability to work independently and with integrity Maintain positive relationships with schools in multiple counties, and communities. Excellent understanding of confidentiality in various settings Must have School Counselor Certification, LPC, or LMFT.Must pass a background check. Must be able to comply with Alcohol/Drug Policy. Must have a valid drivers license. Must have reliable transportation and give proof of insurance. Must have strong computer skills and understanding of protecting information.
