  • Full-time Alexander Counseling Center is seeking a Mental Health Counselor to join our growing, collaborative outpatient practice.
This is an in-person position with flexible scheduling , designed in partnership with our Business Manager to support both client care and work-life balance. About the Role This position is ideal for a clinician who values ethical, client-centered care and is comfortable working independently while also being part of a supportive team. You will provide psychotherapy services to a diverse adult client population and maintain clinical documentation that meets Medicare and insurance standards. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field In good standing in the state of Oregon (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist, etc.) Eligible to provide services billed to Medicaid and commercial insurance Commitment to ethical practice and clinical excellence Responsibilities Provide in-person individual psychotherapy services Complete Medicaid-approved Comprehensive Mental Health Assessments, Treatment Plans, and Progress Notes (in-house training provided) Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation following each session Collaborate with administrative and clinical leadership as needed Uphold all state, federal, and organizational policies and standards Clinical Focus The ideal candidate will have experience and/or a strong interest in working with clients presenting with: Posttraumatic Stress (PTS) Depression Anxiety disorders Adjustment-related concerns Grief and loss Schedule & Setting Full-time, in-person position Days and hours are flexible and will be developed collaboratively with the Business Manager Professional, supportive outpatient setting What We Offer Flexible scheduling Administrative and operational support A collegial, respectful work environment Opportunity to be part of a growing practice committed to quality care How to Apply Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply through Indeed.
