Job Description
Responsibilities Clarion Psychiatric Center offers inpatient treatment for adults with moderate to severe psychiatric problems, inpatient crisis stabilization for children and adolescents, and a Partial Hospitalization Program for school-aged children. Our recently expanded 112-bed inpatient program has 4 units. Provide therapy to individuals and/or groups relative to treatment issues and goals. Serve as a member of hospital committees. Perform group therapy and assessment of various patient groups to determine chemical dependency treatment needs. Serve as part of the treatment team. Job Specifications- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in each criteria listed in this job description.
- Masters Degree in Social Service field is required. License/Certification
- Not Required Experience
- Inpatient/outpatient psychiatric experience preferred. Providing individual and/or group therapy. Knowledge/Skills
- Family dynamics, casework, interpersonal relationships and regional social policy. Knowledge of therapeutic relationships, therapeutic processes, growth and development, limit-setting and behavior management, crisis management of aggressive behaviors, CPR training. Communication skills and ability to teach patients. Supervision Exercised
