Job Description
UPMC is hiring a part-time Mental Health Counselor II to support Western Behavioral Health at Mon Yough in McKeesport, PA. The Mental Health Counselor II is an ideal position for a new bachelor's degree person interested in working with individuals with chronic mental illness, who has little or no experience in the behavioral health field. The hire for this role will have the opportunity to learn about the medications and varieties of treatment modalities that contribute to one's recovery and quality of life. They will also be exposed to all the medical and psychiatric issues related to or as a result of long-term psychotropic medication and other issues related to aging process. The incumbent will be supporting the Fifth Ave Residential Home. The shift for this role works Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Satruday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The ideal candidate would be supportive of and a resource for residents. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $1,750! •
