Work Environment This role is primarily remote, utilizing telehealth services to reach a diverse array of clients. You will have the flexibility of managing your schedule through our innovative online platforms, ensuring efficient service delivery while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our virtual setting fosters collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, enables ongoing professional development, and facilitates engagement with various mental health resources available at your fingertips. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique mental health needs of each client, ensuring a personalized treatment plan is developed and implemented. Maintain open lines of communication with supervisors, healthcare team members, and the client's support system, providing updates on client progress and adapting care plans as necessary. Schedule and manage appointments, telehealth sessions, and client check-ins to monitor and guide therapeutic progress effectively. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document sessions, track client progress, and maintain accurate records that are easily accessible to relevant parties. Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, contributing insights and collaborating on comprehensive care strategies while adapting to emerging client needs. Engage in ongoing training and development to ensure you remain informed of best practices in mental health counseling and stay current with relevant legal and ethical standards. Provide follow-up support through interviews and home visits (when necessary) to help clients achieve optimal outcomes. Act as a liaison within the mental health community, networking with local resources to enhance program development and support initiatives. Assist in the creation of training materials to improve team competence in implementing evidence-based practices and treatment protocols. Patient Population / Client Focus This position focuses on a wide array of clients, including adults and youth experiencing mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use challenges. By addressing the unique circumstances of each individual, you will help empower clients in their journey toward recovery and resilience. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required. Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, ideally within a clinical environment. Strong foundation in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly preferred. A comprehensive understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse client populations. A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. Proficient in the use of EMR software and other relevant technologies to facilitate efficient client care. Preferred Experience Specialized skills in addressing issues related to trauma, addiction, or family dynamics. Experience with remote counseling technologies and familiarity with telehealth best practices. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 based on experience and caseload.
