59 Req # 10297 Diakon Behavioral Health Services offers a range of counseling and behavioral services to children, teens, families and adult individuals. Services are provided through counseling centers in Mechanicsburg, Lewisburg, Montoursville, Williamsport, within several public-school buildings, Kennett Square, and Chester County. Specialized programs include family-based mental health services, provided in the community and in-home, addiction counseling, trauma-focused therapy and SPIN, a service designed to assist children and youths who have problematic sexual behaviors.

General Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing clinical services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Coordinates case management on all assigned cases. Conducts individual, couple, family, and/or group therapy sessions.

Education/Training:

Outpatient Mental Health Education and Training:

A bachelor's degree from a college or university that is accredited in a recognized clinical discipline.

Outpatient Drug & Alcohol Education and Training:

A BA or BS degree in psychology, counseling, sociology, or a related field of study required. CADC preferred, CADC eligible; proof of active efforts toward completion of the certificate required.

Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years' supervised clinical experience in an outpatient setting preferred.

ADA:

Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
