Job Type:
Behavioral Health Clinician Independent contracted position Location and Job Setting Bridges to Well-Being, LLC offers services throughout the beautiful Rogue Valley with sites in Ashland and Medford and virtually via telehealth. Bridges is a group behavioral health practice serving children, individuals, couples, and families. Bridges is currently hiring in person clinicians with the ability to provide some virtual services. We have part-time (40 client hours/month) and full-time (60 client hours/month) positions available for pre-licensed and licensed clinicians who are registered in the state of Oregon. For pre-licensed candidates we are accepting applications for those who have had at least one year post graduate experience within an organization. Supervision is included in pre-licensed contract. Licensed clinicians and pre-licensed clinicians have different contracts and fee structures. This contracted position requires a minimum of 25 client encounters per month with no maximum number of encounters. Specialty clinical skills and populations not required but celebrated such as: EMDR Children, teens and families Couples LGBTQ+ Neurodivergent affirming Elder population Trauma informed
Competencies:
High comfortability with complex systems such as electronic health record, email, scanning, completing applications in a timely and accurate manner, etc. Excellent communication skills as evidenced by the ability to establish collaborative relationships with clients and other professionals. Motivation to excel above and beyond providing treatment-as-usual and will strive to be the best in their field. Interest in and demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team of healthcare professionals including medical providers, other behavioral health providers, care managers, and community partners, to provide coordinated care to clients with a wide range of psychological needs. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work duties. Communicate in a respectful and clear way when encountering difficult situations and respond promptly to patient and/or provider's needs. Demonstrates ability to perform and maintain duties and ask for help and support if needed. Approach problems in a proactive manner, develop alternative solutions, adapt to changes in workflows, and collaborate with other clinic staff and behavioral health colleagues. Ability to identify overwhelm and problem-solve with other staff members.
Essential Functions:
Provide culturally competent services, with an ongoing commitment to training and development in this area. Impart psychotherapeutic services that are evidence-based and can be applied to clients with complex medical issues and a wide range of behavioral health concerns. Document interventions through electronic health record, including charting on clinical services, completing written psychological reports, and other professional documentation. Utilize excellent communication skills as evidenced by the ability to establish collaborative relationships with clients and other professionals. Conduct risk assessments, evaluate crisis situations, and make appropriate referrals to community-based services as needed. Conduct psychological assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing psychotherapy. Provide effective treatment planning and interventions to assist patients to achieve their health and wellness goals.
Qualifications:
Registered as an
LPC, LCSW, LMFT
associate in Oregon or Licensed as an LPC, LCSW or LMFT in Oregon Uphold the relevant ethics codes and the Oregon Revised Statutes Administrative Rules overseeing the practice of the provider's discipline. Complete activities required to maintain a license to practice in the State of Oregon in good standing.
