After school, evenings and weekends highly preferred (to match demand) Case consultation, team support and professional development are all available Must be willing to work with clients of diverse backgrounds Pediatric population, with limited opportunity to see adult clients Bilingual English/Spanish Healthy Young Minds is looking for a skilled Bilingual independently Florida licensed, dynamic Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or a skilled registered Florida mental health counselor intern (RMHCI) with teletherapy experience. Healthy Young Minds believes that matching a child's needs to a provider based on expertise allows for more efficient and effective therapy. Through our telehealth model, families can access therapists with a wide range of qualifications and expertise. Mental Health Counselor duties and responsibilities: Performs services in a teletherapy setting. Intakes, ongoing sessions, collaboration with agency professionals. Creates treatment plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients. Educates patients, family, and caregivers about disorders and therapeutic strategies. Keeps detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress. Reports progress and current status to appropriate parties, including caregivers, teachers, medical professionals, and insurance. Case management Complies with federal and state therapy regulations Maintains required state and national licenses. Administers outcome measures to clients and caregivers Attends staff meetings and training Minimal Mental Health Counselor requirements: MUST have a valid state issued professional counseling license or registered intern. (LMHC, RMHCI). Strong understanding of conditions, causes and treatments of a variety of disorders. Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with computers, Zoom and healthcare EMR's. Proficiency in administering teletherapy. Willing to be licensed in other states.
