Job Description

NOW HIRING
Licensed Bilingual Counselor / Social Worker Spanish-speaking • Lebanon, PA • 1099 Contractor
A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER
When I started my private practice in Lebanon, PA in 2018, other clinicians told me not to take Medicaid. I ignored that advice. My commitment has always been to make high-quality mental health care accessible to everyone — especially people who look and sound like me. The Latino community in South Central Pennsylvania continues to grow, and the gap in culturally responsive, linguistically appropriate mental health care is real and urgent. Over the years, I have built a well-established relationship with Medicaid in this region, and they are actively supporting the growth of this clinic because they see the need too. I am looking for clinicians who share that conviction — professionals who understand that serving this community is not a compromise, it is a calling. Yesenia Colón Rivera, PsyD | Founder & Clinical Psychologist View profile on Latinx Therapy →https://latinxtherapy.com/therapists/yesenia-colon-rivera-psyd/ About Our Practice We are a Medicaid-serving mental health practice based in Lebanon, PA, founded and led by Dr. Yesenia Colón Rivera, a Puerto Rican clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience across diverse settings including community clinics, private practice and federal institutions such as the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Dr. Colón holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Ponce Health Sciences University — one of only two APA-accredited psychology programs in Puerto Rico — completed a highly competitive APA-accredited doctoral internship at Philhaven Hospital (now WellSpan Health System), and serves as an Adjunct Professor training the next generation of doctoral-level psychologists for PHSU. Since opening in 2018, our insurance-based private practice has grown steadily in Lebanon, PA. We are now expanding to better meet the needs of the growing Latino community in South Central Pennsylvania — and we need clinicians who are ready to be part of that mission. Position Overview Are you a licensed mental health professional who is bilingual in Spanish and deeply attuned to the nuances of Latino culture? We are looking for compassionate clinicians who are ready to make a real impact with an underserved community — without needing to worry about finding clients. We handle all referrals so you can focus on what you do best: providing excellent care. This opportunity is a great fit whether you are just starting your career or are mid- or late-career and looking to supplement your current income with meaningful, flexible work. We offer supervision and consultation, so prior experience is not required — your license and your cultural competence are what matter most.

You are welcome to continue that work alongside this role. The one requirement is that candidates must not be currently serving Medicaid clients through another practice or organization. This is strictly to avoid conflicts of interest and ensure there is no competition for the same client population we serve.
