This role focuses on continuing to expand our clinical capacity to serve Spanish-speaking individuals, couples, and families who often face barriers to culturally responsive care. You will deliver evidence-based therapy while receiving structured, weekly clinical supervision toward full licensure. Job Description Bilingual (Spanish) Associate Psychotherapist will provide outpatient individual, couples and group therapy to patients of Well-Mamas Counseling. Clinical therapy services include treatment of adults, couples and families.
Treatment specialties may include:
perinatal, maternal and women's mental health, couples, trauma, EMDR, etc.

Clinical Director Exemption Status:
Non-Exempt Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and Active, unrestricted registration (ASW, AMFT or APCC) with the State of California's Board of Behavioral Sciences. Must be in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. A copy must be provided to Well-Mamas Counseling. Be able to provide professional-level clinical fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken terminology required).
Part-Time:
Successfully provide 80 client contact sessions per month. Available to hold at least 21 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Well-Mamas Counseling. Complete additional administrative hours in conjunction with the clinical hours, which do not exceed 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 35 hours per week described are considered part-time employees.
Full time:
Successfully provide 100 client contact sessions per month. Available to hold at least 28 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Well-Mamas Counseling. Full time designation is 35 hours or more per week, no more than 40 hours per week. Work hours and schedule may vary depending on patient and Well-Mamas Counseling needs. Hours may include some evenings and/or weekends. Therapists are not guaranteed a minimum number of clients or sessions per week. However, it is expected that the Therapist will be available to hold assigned sessions per week based on part-time or full-time designation, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Well-Mamas Counseling. Client sessions are held in the offices of Well-Mamas Counseling and/or using a secure virtual platform when needed. This position will grow in hours over the course of 2-6 months as we add you to insurance panels and build your caseload. The compensation rate is based on experience and ranges from $36-$39 per clinical hour and $18.00 per administrative hours which are to be paid out twice a month. For bilingual positions, the rate begins at $37 per clinical hour, and may increase also depending on experience, $18.00 per administrative hour which are to be paid out twice a month. Perform on-site clinical counseling services to clients of Well-Mamas Counseling, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required. Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Well-Mamas Counseling. Respond to client' requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Well-Mamas Counseling website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such clients. Communicate with a client's treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary. Complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contact notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Well-Mamas Counseling or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the client within a timely fashion (by the end of workday). Keep client electronic files accurate and up to date for each client including, but not limited to demographic and contact information, fee or insurance changes, etc,. Charge and collect payments from clients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Well-Mamas Counseling. Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings as directed by Well-Mamas Counseling. Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Well-Mamas Counseling. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
