Develop Teams. Change Lives. Telecare is seeking an experienced licensed behavioral health leader to serve as the Clinical Director of Steve Wilson Recovery Center in Gresham, Oregon. This is an opportunity for a clinician who enjoys mentoring staff, improving quality of care, partnering with community providers, and helping individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders achieve recovery.
Please note:
This is a 100% in-person leadership position located in Gresham, Oregon. This is not a remote or hybrid role. Clinical leadership, staff development, and collaboration occur onsite with the multidisciplinary team. Schedule Full-Time | Salaried Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Leadership flexibility is needed for occasional evening or weekend responsibilities. Participation in a scheduled leadership on-call rotation is required.
Compensation Realistic Hiring Range:
$103,460 - $112,000 annually Salary Range from Min to
Mid:
$103,460 - $127,815 annually Starting compensation is based on licensure, leadership experience, and directly related clinical experience. Telecare applies geographic pay differentials based on the location where work is performed. Minimum Requirements Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Current Oregon State licensure that is valid, current, and in good standing:
LCSW, LPC, LMFT
Minimum one (1) year of behavioral health leadership or supervisory experience Minimum two (2) years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health setting Experience serving individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders Experience collaborating with families, community partners, and multidisciplinary treatment teams Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all post-offer requirements, including background screening, licensure verification, and any applicable regulatory requirements. About Steve Wilson Recovery Center Steve Wilson Recovery Center is a community behavioral health program dedicated to supporting adults living with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders through recovery-oriented, person-centered care. Our interdisciplinary teams partner with individuals to build independence, strengthen community connections, and achieve meaningful recovery outcomes. As Clinical Director, you'll help shape the clinical culture of the program while supporting staff, maintaining regulatory excellence, and ensuring high-quality services for every person we serve. As Clinical Director, you will: Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a multidisciplinary behavioral health team Mentor and develop licensed and unlicensed clinicians Drive quality improvement and clinical excellence Partner with the Administrator to guide program operations and strategic initiatives Build strong relationships with community partners throughout the Portland Metro area Foster a recovery-focused culture centered on dignity, respect, and outcomes This role is ideal for a licensed clinician ready to expand their leadership impact while remaining connected to meaningful behavioral health work. What You'll Do As Clinical Director, you will provide both clinical and operational leadership by: Serving as the clinical leader for the program alongside the Administrator Supervising, coaching, and developing clinical staff Ensuring high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services Monitoring documentation, compliance, and regulatory standards Leading clinical quality improvement initiatives Supporting recovery-oriented programming and trauma-informed care Collaborating with hospitals, referral sources, county partners, and community agencies Conducting chart audits and ensuring documentation meets state and county requirements Participating in incident review, risk management, and performance improvement activities Helping create an engaged, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture What's In It for You•
