Description Position Overview Spring Raze Diagnostic and Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment As a remote work environment, our telehealth facility combines the latest technology with a supportive team structure to facilitate collaborative patient care. You will join a network of licensed therapists who work closely together to maximize treatment effectiveness. Our remote setup promotes work-life balance while allowing you to engage in ongoing communication with patients and colleagues to provide continuity of care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through video conferencing tools to identify patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide short-term individual therapy sessions and crisis interventions for patients experiencing acute emotional distress or mental health challenges. Design and lead virtual therapy groups focused on issues like anxiety management, coping strategies, and stress reduction. Engage in collaborative case discussions with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers, to coordinate and enhance patient care. Initiate outreach and preventive programs that promote mental health awareness within the community, including webinars and virtual workshops. Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and ethical standards, ensuring proper documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient demographic, including individuals from various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and mental health conditions. You will address a wide range of issues, from depression and anxiety to trauma-related disorders, utilizing telehealth methods that are effective and accessible for all patients. Qualifications Must hold an active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline is preferred. Proven ability to navigate the unique mental health challenges faced by individuals in a hospital or hospital-adjacent setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for establishing rapport with patients and collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with brief therapy models and evidence-based practices relevant to the telehealth space. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in a telehealth or remote service setting. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment. Experience with digital tools and software related to mental health care and documentation. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from
USD 115,000
