Work Environment This full-time role offers a remote work setting, enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance without the need for evening or weekend shifts. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, allowing you to engage fully with your clients during their most productive hours. Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily tasks will revolve around providing top-tier support to young adults.
Key responsibilities include:
Facilitate Group Therapy:
Conduct engaging group therapy sessions that foster trust and openness, encouraging clients to share personal experiences, build community, and support one another's healing journeys.
Individual Therapy:
Deliver one-on-one counseling tailored to the unique needs of each client. You will employ various therapeutic techniques to help clients navigate their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns.
Treatment Planning:
Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and preferences, integrating evidence-based practices.
Progress Monitoring:
Utilize assessment tools and client feedback to evaluate treatment efficacy. Track progress and adjust therapeutic strategies accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery, actively participating in case consultations and regular team meetings. Patient Population / Client Focus You will be working primarily with young adults aged 18 to 30, navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. By employing a holistic approach and evidence-based practices, you can help clients achieve meaningful recovery and personal growth. Your role will directly impact clients' emotional well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life. Qualifications To thrive in this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
Educational Requirement:
A master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
Licensure:
Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
Clinical Skills:
Deep understanding of therapeutic modalities suited for young adult populations and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Preferred Experience While we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, candidates with prior experience working with young adults facing mental health challenges and those familiar with outpatient treatment settings will be prioritized. Experience in trauma-informed care or working with clients in a PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) setting is a plus. Compensation and Benefits In addition to a competitive salary range of
