You will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care through individual, group, couples, and family counseling while utilizing evidence-based practices and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) Provide crisis management and intervention for patients experiencing acute mental health issues or behavioral crises Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate psychotherapy techniques, and case management strategies Maintain detailed medical records, documentation of patient care, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and caregivers to coordinate comprehensive patient care Engage in clinical research activities or data collection efforts to improve service delivery and treatment outcomes Experience Proven experience in clinical counseling or mental health therapy within outpatient or inpatient settings Strong background working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols Experience providing telehealth services using secure platforms for remote patient care Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health conditions and ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) Experience working with diverse populations including those facing PTSD, grief issues, addiction challenges, or gender-related counseling needs Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments using diagnostic tools and conduct intake evaluations effectively This role offers an enriching environment where your skills can truly make a difference.
