We are a small, client-centered counseling practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care to individuals, couples, and families. Our team values collaboration, integrity, and creating a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians. We work largely with rural and lower income populations, and are credentialed with almost all major regional insurers.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor or LADC to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients navigate life's challenges, committed to ethical practice, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy to a diverse client population Conduct diagnostic interviews, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal standards Collaborate with other providers or referral sources as needed Manage a caseload and maintain timely progress notes and treatment updates Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted license in [State] (LADC, LCMHC, LMHC, LPC, or equivalent) Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field Experience providing psychotherapy (preferred but not always required) Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience working with rural communities Training in evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness-based approaches) Interest in building a niche or specialty area
