Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding standards Provide evidence-based psychotherapy including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and other appropriate modalities tailored to client needs Deliver specialized counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and families, including support for developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), trauma-related disorders, PTSD, and behavioral health concerns Manage crisis situations using appropriate crisis intervention and stabilization techniques Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on grief, addiction, behavioral health, chronic pain, and related clinical needs Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing-related documentation in compliance with HIPAA Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated care for clients with complex or co-occurring disorders Experience Active Maryland LCPC or LCSW-C license required Demonstrated experience in outpatient or inpatient clinical mental health settings Strong proficiency in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, ABA-informed approaches, and trauma-informed care Experience working with diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges Familiarity with ICD-10 coding systems and clinical documentation standards Strong skills in crisis intervention, behavioral management, and clinical assessment in fast-paced environments Telehealth experience is highly preferred Knowledge of psychopharmacology and mental health terminology is an asset AI-Assisted Documentation We prioritize clinical care over administrative burden. Sound Wellness Center utilizes an AI-assisted medical scribe system that generates therapy session notes for clinician review and approval. This significantly reduces documentation time, allowing clinicians to focus more fully on client care while maintaining accurate clinical records.
